Uptown Revitalization – Growth for Everyone (UR-GE) is seeking to raise $325,000 to invest into three redevelopment efforts in Uptown Creston, IA, Maple Street Apartments I, Maple Street Apartments II, and Angew Lofts.  

In total, the developments consist of 31 residential units and 10,600 SF of retail space.  The development team will be a partnership between UR-GE, Uptown Creston Investment Group, LLC (UCIG), and RANT, LLC, the Project Developer.  

 The three projects include some combination of local and state development incentives, including Tax Credits and Grants and non-recourse financing.

 URGE intends to re-invest all realized returns from the Maple Street Development projects into the construction of new single-family homes in and around the Uptown Creston neighborhood.  With potential partnership with Southwestern Community College and local businesses, URGE hopes to construct 2-3 single-family homes a year, starting in 2024.
